Tap it again to return to the red overlay view. The keyboard shortcut for Quick mask is Q. Photoshop is an exceptional design software used by almost every designer in the world. Create/release clipping mask – Control + Alt + G. One of Adobe Photoshop’s strengths is that it makes extensive use of keyboard shortcuts but, there are so many that it’s difficult to remember them all. Viewing the selection in this manner allows you to see the mask Photoshop is creating for you as well as the image. You can now paint away any extra masking.
Note: changing the Quick Mask color will also change the Overlay option in the Select and Mask workspace. ⌘/Ctrl+A selects everything on the screen.
“Quick Mask” is an extremely powerful, yet often neglected and forgotten, feature of Photoshop.
